Boasting 7 g of BCAA’s per serving, Scivation Xtend enhances performance during exercise, muscle protein synthesis, and recovery. An electrolyte blend is included to help maintain hydration, and to support nerve and muscle function for a more energized workout. Citrulline malate helps transport nutrients to your muscles, and, as a precursor to NO, helps increase intensity and gives you a good pump! Glutamine will fuel the brain and help with muscle repair, keeping you more active during your training, and helping to reduce muscle protein breakdown. Scivation Xtend has no calories, no fat, no cholesterol, and no carbs (no sugar).

Mixability – 9/10

For a product that contains BCAA’s, Scivation Xtend actually mixes fairly well. I’m sure there will still be some undissolved residue even after a really good shake, but that’s to be expected. For best results, incorporate the powder into the liquid by swirling prior to shaking.

Taste – 10/10

You can’t go wrong with any of the flavours that are available for Xtend. Even if you’re super picky, you’re bound to find one you love. I think most of them are very good, but my favourite two are watermelon and blue raspberry.

Effectiveness – 9.5/10

I noticed changes immediately after starting Scivation Xtend. My energy increased, as did my endurance and power. I had reduced fatigue, allowing me to train harder and longer. I could do more reps and lift heavier weights. All of this supports an increase in muscle mass and less body fat!

Overall – 9.5/10

I really like Scivation Xtend. It has good ingredients for a well-balanced intra-workout drink. I like to drink a bit before my workout, and then sip on it during my training. Scivation Xtend tastes so good that it rarely lasts to the end of training. You can also sip on Xtend during the days that you don’t workout. 1 scoop in a cup of cold water is all you need!
