Creatine is a well-researched supplement, and clinical human trials continue to prove that it works. Second to protein, creatine is the next best muscle building supplement, and it’s purpose is to increase muscle size and strength in response to resistance exercise. Mutant recently released their new creatine blend, CreaKong. It combines three pure creatines from the world’s leading sources, and that’s it, no fillers. Here is my Mutant CreaKong review.
Mutant CreaKong contains no fillers. Each serving provides 100% creatine that has been fully researched and clinically-proven in human studies to make muscle. CreaKong is a blend of three types of creatine: Creapure creatine monohydrate, creatine MagnaPower (creatine-magnesium chelate), and Creapure tri-creatine citrate.
Creapure creatine monohydrate is the most researched form of creatine. This German source has been repeatedly verified to improve muscle strength and size during training.
Creatine MagnaPower is alkalized so it is absorbed differently than creatine monohydrate, resulting in less competition for your muscles and less bloating for your stomach. MagnaPower has been shown to improve protein synthesis, muscle contraction speed, and peak power output, leading to more reps in the gym and significant muscle gains.
Creapure tri-creatine citrate significantly raises plasma creatine levels and ATP output, generating increased exercise power and performance.
I always take my creatine with juice, and with a couple of shakes CreaKong mixed up fairly well. Sometimes there were a few bits left at the bottom but I just used a little water to get those too.
CreaKong is unflavoured and didn’t alter the taste of the juice.
Mutant CreaKong is available in a 300g container. Suggested serving size is 4g, giving you 75 servings per container.
CreaKong gave me some good results. I had noticeable size and strength gains. My muscles grew bigger and I could lift more during training. More weight and more reps. I didn’t experience any stomach bloating so absorption and utilization must be quite efficient.
Mutant CreaKong is a solid blend of good quality, highly researched creatines. The creatines are all patented forms supported by clinical studies using human subjects. CreaKong contains no other ingredients. No fillers. Just creatine. Creatine is usually supplemented at 5g per day for maintenance, so I wasn’t thrilled with the recommended 4g serving in CreaKong. I followed Mutant’s recommendation, however, I believe I would have had better results taking 5g instead. I had good results but not wicked results. Since everyone responds differently to creatine and the various forms of creatine, I would check out Mutant CreaKong for yourself.
