I have just about finished my first container of GAT Nitraflex and thought it would be a good time to share my thoughts on this pre-workout. To start off this GAT Nitraflex review, a few of the unique features of this product:
- 325 mg caffeine per scoop!
- testosterone enhancing complex
Ingredient Profile – 9/10
The caffeine in a single scoop of GAT Nitraflex is equivalent to approximately 4 cups of coffee so I can’t take it after 5 pm if I want to sleep that night. In addition to having an effective NO precursor complex (citrulline and arginine) for increased vasodilation, GAT also includes a testosterone-enhancing complex; a nice bonus to have in a pre-workout product. GAT Nitraflex is also creatine-free, which reduces water retention during your workout and helps your muscles look harder. The beta-alanine helps to give you more energy and pumps, as well as helps to remove lactic acid from working muscles.
As a consumer, I find the ingredient profile too scientific. It would be much more user friendly if the ingredients were listed as the more familiar terms.
Mixability – 9.5/10
GAT Nitraflex mixes up nicely in water.
Taste – 8.5/10
I’m currently using the watermelon flavour of GAT Nitraflex, which is good. Friends who have tried the green apple say that it’s a bit sour/bitter, but also good.
Effectiveness – 9/10
If you’re sensitive to caffeine like I am, you have to watch when you take GAT Nitraflex. That said, it’s great at giving me the energy and focus to push through tough work-outs, especially when I lack the motivation to hit the gym. I started off with a half scoop about 30 minutes before my workouts, but was quickly up to a full scoop no problem. I feel like I’ve built up a bit of a tolerance to it’s effectiveness, but it still gives me pretty good pump. GAT Nitraflex seems to improve my strength overall, and I’m able to lift the same weights with a bit more ease. I’ve even increased the weight during some exercises while using this product.
Overall – 9/10
GAT Nitraflex is definitely worth a try if you’re looking for a high stimulant, creatine-free pre-workout product, with the added feature of a testosterone booster. So as to maintain its effectiveness, make sure you don’t use it for too long at one time. Rather, cycle it in with your other favourite pre-workouts to switch things up a bit. I will use GAT Nitraflex again, and maybe next time I’ll try green apple.
