There are 5 matrixes that are the constituents of the NO Xplode 2.0 Proprietary blend:

Advanced Strength and Performance Matrix contains beta-alanine and various forms of creatine for more energy and greater pumps. Ketoisocaproate potassium is an anti-catabolic agent and precursor to leucine (a BCAA) so it helps resist muscle breakdown and supports growth. Digestion is supported by betaine HCL and cinnamon, and sodium bicarbonate helps to maintain proper blood pH.

Ener-Tropic Xplosion is the blend that gives you focus and energy from tyrosine, taurine and caffeine (approximately 225 mg per serving). MCT oil supplies some thermogenic energy. This blend also enhances blood circulation and nutrient delivery to muscles and the brain.

N.O. Meta-Fusion blend uses arginine and citrulline to increase vasodilation and give you more pump and energy.

Phospho-Electrolyte Composite contains calcium, potassium and sodium to maintain electrolyte balance.

Glycereol Polymer Complex includes potassium and magnesium. Potassium is involved in electrolyte and fluid balance, and muscle contraction. Magnesium is involved in protein synthesis, muscle contraction, bone mineralization and healthy immunity.

N.O.-Xplode 2.0 also contains a healthy dose of folate, and vitamins B6 and B12, which all support healthy red blood cells, and therefore, oxygen transport throughout the body.

Mixability – 8/10

As a dietary supplement and once your tolerance has been assessed, mix 1-2 scoops with 5-12 oz of cold water and consume 30-45 minutes before training. If desired, use a third scoop at least 3 hours after using the initial 2 scoops. Do not take more than 2 scoops at a time, and do not exceed 3 scoops in one day. Use approximately 5-6 oz of water per 1 scoop of powder. To achieve maximum results take on an empty stomach. On non-training days, mix 1 scoop with 5-6 oz of cold water and consume on an empty stomach. After 12 weeks of use, discontinue for at least 4 weeks.

It’s advised that while mixing NO Xplode 2.o, you stir the powder into the water, and do not shake! Even without shaking (I swirled), I found the resulting mix to be a bit fizzy and foamy.

Taste – 7/10

BSN NO Xplode 2.0 is available in 6 flavours - watermelon, raspberry lemonade, grape, fruit punch, blue raz, and cherry limeade. I tried the fruit punch and it was ok. There was a bit of an odd after taste, and others I spoke to had the same feedback on other flavours.

Effectiveness – 9/10

NO Xplode 2.0 gave me good results. I felt energized and pumped up for training, and the energy lasted longer than with other pre-workouts. For me, 1 scoop was enough most days. Sometimes, if I felt I needed an extra boost, I took 1.5 scoops. The energy was steady and clean, and the pumps I got were good. Nothing too crazy or jittery, but consistently good. I was able to stay focused at the gym, getting in solid sets and even some extra lifts. It wasn’t too long before I started pushing more weight and getting noticeable muscle gains.

Overall – 8.25/10

So that’s my BSN NO Xplode 2.0 review. It’s a good pre-workout that you should try if you haven’t already. It increased all of the main criteria…focus, energy, strength, performance. Every time I used N.O.-Xplode I felt pumped and ready to train. It helped me get good results in the gym, which lead to great results physically. My main concern with the ingredient list is the amount of sodium, 350 mg per scoop! This can really add up if you’re taking multiple scoops in a day. Another thing I should point out is that although there are a number of forms of creatine included, creatine monohydrate is not one of them. Easy enough to add if that’s one thing you really like taking. BSN NO Xplode 2.0 is available in 2 sizes, 30 and 50 servings.
